Prerequisite: Knowing how to upload media files is required. For instruction on how to do this, check the "How to Upload Logos" section.
1) Using a browser (Chrome, if possible), go to this case-sensitive URL: http://WO-SIGNAGE-CMS/ContentManager
Login with these credentials for now for Mobile Stand 1:
- Username: mobile
- Password: 12345678
Login with these credentials for now for Mobile Stand 2:
- Username: mobile2
- Password: 12345678
The credentials used will decide which Mobile Stand you are working with.
http://WO-SIGNAGE-CMS/ContentManager is an internal web site that may only be accessible from specific locations.
2) Click on "Media"
3) You are now in the Media Library, which holds all the images and videos to be played in the mobile stands. Adding / removing items from here will add / remove it from the mobile stands within 7 minutes.
Images will play for 7 seconds apiece.
Videos will play for their entire duration.
Items are played in sequence from oldest to newest.
When choosing an image to upload:
- All common formats (PNG, JPG, BMP, GIF, TIFF) are accepted. PNG and JPG are preferred. If using JPG, the image should be in RGB Mode. If using PNG, do not show transparency.
- The size of the image should be 1080 x 1920 pixels. If it isn't, it should at least be a 9:16 aspect ratio image.
When choosing a video to upload:
- MP4 and WMV formats are accepted. If using MP4, it is recommended to follow this encoding profile: H264, Main Profile, Level 4.0. Other profiles may work as well.
- The size of the video should be 1080 x 1920 pixels. If it isn't, it should at least be a 9:16 aspect ratio video.
